How much does a building inspection cost?
Here at The Property Inspectors, we want to make sure you’re getting the most for your money. Property inspection costs are calculated on a range of different factors, including:
- Property size: More than just number of bedrooms; how large is the whole building?
- Type of property: Is it an apartment, unit, or freestanding home?
- Design and complexity: Does it have multiple stories? Have many changes been made to the original design?
- Age of the home: What building code was it constructed under? What materials were commonly used at that time?
Once I know the specifics, I can calculate the home inspection costs to generate a comprehensive building inspection report.
The cost of going without
If you’re still uncertain about investing in a property or home inspection, consider the costs of going without one. There are many potential faults a house could have that only an experienced property inspector like myself can detect, and a building inspection report is the best way to ensure that you’re buying a quality home. In this competitive housing market, you don’t want to spend $1 million on a house that will end up costing you a lot more than minimal building inspection costs!
